Metrics for Ministry

Metrics for Ministry is an integration that's designed to bring your Planning Center data into Google Sheets and Google Data Studio.

This integration is built and maintained by Savvy Tool Belt and is not connected with Planning Center Online in any way.

Purpose

Tracking numbers is hard, and it's even harder when you have to manually update CSV files, download information, and create your own metrics. The goal of the PCO to Google integration is to remove the additional work involved in understanding the health of your church along with created an automated and sharable solution.

Requirements

  • You are required to be a Planning Center Admin for the modules that you're attempting to connect to.

  • You must have a Google Account (You can get this free).

Planning Center Modules

Module

Description

People

The PCO People module is supported in two ways:

  1. List Data - You can download people who are a part of a specific list within PCO.

  2. People Data - This downloads basic profile information from your PCO database

The PCO People module is required for this integration.

Giving

PCO Giving is supported at the transaction level. This means that it will download each transaction into Google Sheets line by line. This includes Funds, Labels, Payment Sources, and more.

Check-ins

Supported with two connectors:

  1. Headcounts - Information from PCO's Headcount feature.

  2. Check-Ins - Pulls individual check-in data.

Groups

Supported by pulling Group Summary information.

Future releases will include Attendance and Membership connectors..
